During our recent stay at the Rose and Crown, we found it to be a well-suited option for our family vacation. The staff, particularly Sean, made us feel right at home, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. The hotel's clean rooms, with king-size beds, allowed for restful nights which were essential after our day of exploring. We enjoyed easy access to local attractions, including the nearby Recreation Ground, where our kids had a blast playing and running around. The short bus ride into Bath offered us the chance to explore historical sites and enjoy local cuisine without the hassle of parking. Despite the restaurant being closed on certain days, we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful breakfast provisions left in the fridge. The variety made it easy for everyone to find something they liked, including gluten-free options. We appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the hotel's proximity to fun activities. We'll definitely consider returning on our next visit to the area.
